Dear Columban Friend,

The letters that come to the office and across my desk are a reminder of the deep generosity that people have for others whom they will never meet but whose lives touch yours through Columban Mission.

You  enable Columban missionaries to be present with them in times of great need such as assisting flood victims in Pakistan and Fiji, providing medical assistance in Peru, desperately needed education in Myanmar, protecting the environment in the Philippines and also taking care of our elderly and retired priests in Australia.

Jesus Christ gave us an example to care for one another and you make this possible not only here but throughout the world. His ‘Good News’ is alive and well in our hearts.
