St. Vincent de Paul, Melbourne Youth Conference in partnership with The Parish of Pius X, Raiwaqa, Fiji
THE STORY SO FAR
On Anzac Day this year a group of Young Vinnies from Melbourne set out, as part of the Columban Partnership Program, to visit the parish of Pius X in Raiwaqa, a suburb of Suva in Fiji. Our aim was to meet the people of the parish, especially the SVDP people and very especially the SVDP youth group with a view to sharing our experiences and developing long term relationships that will enable further work together.
Visiting were Rohan Smith, Liana Bonadio, Em Wardeiner, Bec Cerreto, Narelle Jarvis, Sarah Moore, Justin Finlayson and Julia Ottobre. They were accompanied by Dick Danckert of the Columbans.
