Fr William (Bill) Moran (left) will step down as Bursar of the Australia/New Zealand Region on December 31, 2009. He has held this position for the last 14 years.
During the 1980s he was Regional Bursar for Chile among other pastoral duties. He returned to Australia in 1988 and wa
s appointed Director of the Region in 1990 for four years. In 1995 he became the Regional Bursar until the present day.
Fr Moran has always been willing to accept appointments that carry significant responsibilities. This Region thanks him for his generosity and willingness to go ‘the extra mile.’
His eagle eye as a proof-reader for the Columban Calendar will still be appreciated in the years to come.
Mr Andrew Morse, our Business Manager at the Columban Mission Centre has assumed responsibility as the new Regional Bursar. He has been Business Manager since 2007.
