In this episode of "Meet a Columban", Columban Fr Jim Mulroney speaks with Fr John Hegerty SSC who has been in Peru since 1971. Born in 1941 in Redesdale, central Victoria, he grew up on his parents’ 1,700 acre sheep and cattle and rotational cropping holding, called Summer Hill. He joined the Columbans at the age of 23.
