In this episode of Meet a Columban, Regional Director of Oceania Fr Trevor Trotter SSC speaks with Columban Rev Dr Charles Rue. Charles Rue was raised in Canowindra, NSW. A farmer for four years he joined the Columbans and was ordained in 1968. Appointed to South Korea, he worked in parishes but from 1980 taught liturgy in Seoul after studies at Berkeley. He completed a masters in environmental studies before working as a parish priest in Jamaica, WI. Granted a doctorate for his work on the history of the Columbans in Australia, he now writes to help connect faith and the insights of ecology.
