At the heart of Columban Mission is Jesus Christ who gives life to all creation. He sought out the suffering and the marginalised, and invites us to embrace him in the poor and exploited of our world today. Jesus also crossed ethno-cultural boundaries to encounter the Samaritan woman, and he invites us to encounter his presence in people of every faith tradition and none. Columbans across the globe work with local communities to welcome migrants and refugees, as well as to advocate for the protection of their human rights.
