‘Country, heal our nation.’

The National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Catholic Council (NATSICC) have adopted the 2021 NAIDOC week theme ‘Heal Country, heal our nation’ to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Sunday. They state, ‘today the world is in need of healing – environmentally, spiritually and socially and that we must all come together as a global community to fight the injustices of inequality, racism and environmental damage.’ NATSICC has prepared many resources to help churches, schools, and organizations celebrate and learn more about this special day. 2021 ATSI Sunday (natsicc.org.au)

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Sunday Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop Peter Comensoli at St Patricks Cathedral in Melbourne at 11am on July 4th and will be live streamed on Channel 31.
