ACRATH Vic Memebers visit ACU 25 Feb 2026 ACRATH Vic Memebers visit ACU 25 Feb 2026

On Wednesday 25th February, ACRATH members visited the new office space at the Australian Catholic University in East Melbourne. It was a time of catching up with ACRATH members and also meeting new colleagues from the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne.

2026 is looking to be a busy year as ACRATH continues its work on human trafficking, awareness through its schools partnership program, advocacy work with PALM scheme workers, and a new working group set to facilitate workshops for the Pacific region.

Columban Fr Kelvin Barrett and Columban Regional Partnership Coordinator Mariana Waqa attend monthly meetings to support ACRATH’s community initiatives as part of the society’s mission priority on working with and advocating for migrants and refugees.

Adi Mariana Waqa is the Columban Partnership Coordinator at St Columban's, Essendon.
