Lord,
As I enter this New Year may it be a special time in my life; a time of your grace to help me make a new beginning, a fresh start.
Forgive the faults and failings of the past year, especially in my relationships with others and in my friendship with you.
Bless me in my New Year resolutions my hope to do better and be better, to be less self-indulgent, to enjoy a healthier lifestyle.
Grant me a generous heart to be kinder to others as you are kind and forgiving to me.
Guide me in this New Year in all I do, in all I undertake, so that it may be a good year blessed by your love.
Amen.
