Lord, today, we remember the many
brave men and women who have given
their lives throughout the history of our country
to protect us from danger and harm.
We remember all those who sustained injury
in the course of their service.
We salute all those who served in the military.
Lord, we pray You will help us strengthen
our love of democracy so the sacrifices
of generations of brave men and women
will not have been in vain.
