Dear Jesus,
I have distractions in prayer- random thoughts
or feelings that interrupt our conversations.
Sometimes, they may be worries or desires
that could be brought to prayer.
Another kind of distraction is one that influences
my daily activity, a distraction that takes me away
from choosing something better than following You.
It may be good in itself, but I could be doing something
more loving, beneficial, generous, kind or challenging.
Guide me in Your way.
Amen.
