The Stations of the Forests – Australian Version DVD is a prayerful resource for Senior students and adults.
Following the format of the Stations of the Cross, the DVD laments the stages in the death of the rainforests, a living part of God’s Creation.
Designed for group reflections and discussions, it tells the story of the indigenous Subanens in the Philippines who are literally having their homes cut down around them.
The Stations of the Forests incorporates issues related to rainforest destruction, mining, logging, agriculture, loss of biodiversity and climate change. The DVD invites people to reflect on the Australian landscape in a similar manner.
A Booklet accompanies the DVD, providing the script, an agenda for meetings, a reflection on the Stations, and prayers. (download booklet here)
