From the Director - 2015 Christmas message
Recently we had the chance to give something back with the expert help of the Brigidine Asylum Seekers Project, we made available a house on our property for refugees. We cannot help but think of Mary and Joseph and their time in Bethlehem where there was no room in the inn. (watch/listen)
Sr Mary Dillon thanks Columban Benefactors
On behalf of all the patients that we minister to daily I want to say Thank You. Your support and prayers have reached many poor and struggling people; people who have very little of this world's trappings but who awaken each day knowing that survival is overshadowing every movement and choice they make. (more)
Fr Brian Gore supports widows and widowers
While the government in the Philippines gives some recognition to their senior citizens and people with disabilities, widows and widowers can only hope to get 500 pesos per month (AUD$15). However this rarely happens! (more)
Honorary Doctorate conferred on Columbans
Three doctorate degrees were conferred by Saint Patrick's College Maynooth to representatives of places or religious life associated with Saint Columban on Monday 14 December, 2015 to commemorate the 1400th anniversary of Saint Columban's death. (more)
Reflection by Fr Noel Connolly - Light and hope begin in darkness
I lived in Ireland for almost sixteen years and the thing I miss about Advent and Christmas since returning to Australia is the lack of darkness. It made December a special time. (more)
2015 Christmas Appeal
