Éire Vedanta Society Returns to Dalgan

Éire Vedanta Society

Dalgan Park, home of the Columbans in Ireland, welcomed members of the Éire Vedanta Society for their first visit since the pandemic. The group was led by Swami Purananda and was welcomed by Columban Fr Pat Raleigh.

A religious/spiritual society that teaches the universal philosophy of Vedanta, the Ramakrishna Vedanta Centre has its headquarters in Mulhuddart, Dublin.

The community stands in the Hindu tradition and is a member of the Dublin City Interfaith Forum (DCIF), of which the Missionary Society of St Columban in Ireland is also a member.

Established in 2012, the Dublin City Interfaith Forum seeks to raise awareness of the diversity of faith and culture through deep interfaith dialogue and cooperation.

It aims to provide the space and opportunity for faith communities to build relationships with Dublin City Communities, statutory and voluntary organisations and the residents of Dublin City.

Members envisage a society based on mutual respect, cooperation and understanding driven by progressive pluralism and unity, diverse and vibrant, throughout Ireland and the World.
