On 12 December 2024, a group of women from various faith traditions gathered for a special interfaith celebration that explored the spirit of Christmas and other religious festivals. The gathering aimed to foster unity, mutual understanding, and respect, while reflecting on the core values of hope, peace, love, and joy. The different religions were from the Baha'i Faith, Latter Day Saints, Shri Sanatan Dharm, TISI Sangam, and the Catholic church.

The program began with heartfelt sharing from participants, each offering insights into their faith traditions and the significance of their religious festivals. Through these reflections, the women explored the shared themes of goodwill and the universal aspirations for harmony and compassion in the world.

Hymns from different religious backgrounds were sung, enhancing the atmosphere of reverence and connection. The music, whether familiar Christmas carols or songs from other traditions, underscored the themes of celebration and unity.

The event concluded with a shared meal, symbolising the unity and friendship forged during the gathering. The diverse array of dishes offered reflected the rich cultural backgrounds of the participants, yet they all came together as a symbol of togetherness and mutual respect.

This interfaith gathering served as a meaningful opportunity for women to bond over their shared values and celebrate the season of goodwill, the importance of hope, peace, love, and joy in their lives and communities.
