About
Columban Mission Center is offering a School Partnership Program that focuses on Mission Awareness and Caring for Creation (Biodiversity) across Catholic Schools in Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji.
Aligning with the Church’s Jubilee Year, the aim of the program is to raise up “Pilgrims of Hope” who are connected across different contexts and cultures to protect and help restore God’s creation through localised initiatives. It is a synodal approach to connect schools in Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji with Columban Missions abroad, creating cross-cultural exchanges in the different contexts and activities that are taking place to protect and restore God’s creation.
What is involved?
The program consists of a 30-45 minute information session at schools run by Columbans and Columban Partnership Coordinator connecting Laudato Si with a Gospel centered mission on the Care for God’s Creation and Biodiversity.
