Pack A: No Room in the Inn - Jesus was born in a stable because there was no room in the Inn for Joseph and Mary. The Subanens are a tribal people living in Northwestern Mindanao in the Philippines. Over centuries their way of life has been sheltered and nurtured within the “Inn” of their ancestral homeland. Like Joseph and Mary, the Subanens hope to provide a safe and healthy home for their children. That hope will die if they are denied room in the “Inn” of their ancestral homeland. Columbans have worked with the Subanen people for 50 years. |
