The young women featured in this photo are Subanen crafters, working and making Christmas Cards. With the modest incomes from the sale of Subanen Christmas Cards each year, Subanen crafters can provide food, basic education and proper healthcare for their families. Subanen Crafts Project founder, Columban Fr Vincent Busch has been a missionary priest in the Philippines since 1974 and currently works with the indigenous Subanen people of Mindanao, Philippines.
