The Faiths 4 Climate Justice:  A Global, Multi-Religious Action on October 17th-18th was an international initiative of GreenFaith International.  The Australian Religious Response to Climate Change (ARRCC) is an international network partner of GreenFaith International.  ARRCC is a ‘multi-faith, member-based organization of people committed to taking action on climate change.’ We believe that as people dedicated to the common good, inspired by our beliefs and energized by our spirituality, people of all faiths can and should be at the forefront of creating a safe climate. While celebrating the uniqueness of our different traditions, we stand together in working for an ecologically and socially sustainable future.’’  ARRCC

The Faiths 4 Climate Justice, Global, Multi-Religious Action was an invitation to people of faith worldwide leading up to the COP 26 summit in Glasgow.  It focused on two days of action to send clear messages to government and financial institutions.  The St Columbans Mission Society, Columban Mission Centre in Essendon joined the Faiths4Climate Justice - #Faith4Climate initiative by purchasing the ARRCC banner and placing it on the front fence to make the message clear that the time to act is now.

The message on the banner is Protect Creation Bold Climate Action by 2030 Starting Now.  The PEJ team has forwarded the above photo to ARRCC who are also asking groups to circulate their photos on their own social media.
