The United Nations Decade of Ecosystem Restoration 2021-2030 invites global commitments to protect and restore the variety of life in ecosystems worldwide. In his letter for World Environment Day (June 5th), Pope Francis said, ‘we are all part of the gift of creation. We are a part of nature, not separated from it. This is what the Bible tells us.’ The Pope refers to the need for urgent response and says, ‘And yet there is hope. As we welcome this (decade), let us be compassionate, creative and courageous.

May we take our proper place as a Restoration Generation.’
