Columban Missionaries in Britain are following in the footsteps of St Columban and invite friends around the world to join as virtual pilgrims.

Columban Fr John Boles is leading a pilgrim group of ordained and lay Columban missionaries and co-workers on a walk from Padstow to Fowey in Cornwall, Britain during Laudato Si Week, 24-27th May. The pilgrims are drawing inspiration from St Columban our patron, who journeyed through Cornwall on his missionary journey 1400 years ago. Columban missionaries in Britain are inviting friends around the world to join as virtual pilgrims to reflect on the cries of the Earth and the cries of the poor, and to call to mind the people and places served by Columban missionaries today.

James Trewby, Columban Justice and Peace Education Worker for the Missionary Society of St Columban in Britain invites virtual pilgrims to join in two ways:

*Laudato Si Week is celebrated in Australia 16th-24th May to enable us to fully focus on National Sorry Day, 26th May and National Reconciliation Week, 27th May – 3rd June.
