Xavier College Fiji celebrates its Platinum Jubilee

Xavier College 70 years celebrationsThis year marks the 70th year of establishment of Xavier College which was founded by the Columban Fathers. The school will be celebrating this milestone from Thursday 14th to Saturday 16th September as the main event of this Jubilee Year.

Since the celebrations will fall within the Season of Creation, our students will cease the opportunity to advocate for the cry of creation by showing our winning 2022 video and this year's video entry among other activities like planting trees etc.

We will also unveil the statue of St. Columban as our tribute and appreciation to the Columban Fathers and we hope that Fr. Felisiano Fatu, as Vice Regional Director of the Columbans in Fiji and other Columbans will do the honors of unveiling the statue.

There is also our souvenir magazine which will be launched before the end of the academic year and on the 3rd December, the Feast Day of St. Francis Xavier, round off the Jubilee with a fundraiser/gala.

'A grateful heart sees many blessings!'

Columban Fr Felisiano Fatu is the Vice Regional Director of Oceania.
