2023 Columban Christmas Appeal
"At Christmas, we are called to recognise the face of Jesus in every needy person."
Pope Francis
Christmas is a time of love, hope, and giving as we commemorate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ and reflect on the message of peace and goodwill he brought to the world. During this season of giving, we are called to extend our love and support to those in need, just as Christ taught us through his life and teachings.
As Columban Missionaries, we are dedicated to providing comfort to the lonely, hope to the despairing, and assistance to those facing challenging circumstances through our various ministries and outreach programs in the many countries where we serve.
Columban Fr Tony Coney recently reported on the tremendous work the Columbans in Peru undertake through St Bernadette’s Children’s Centre to improve the life opportunities for the poor and vulnerable children, including victims of sexual, psychological and physical abuse, as well as marginalised children on the verge of school expulsion. Let us come together as a community to share the blessings we have received and extend a hand of support to those who need it most.
I ask you to use the options below to support the Columban Christmas Appeal.
Your participation in the Christmas Appeal will make a difference in the lives of those we serve, spreading the love and compassion of Christ to all.
We thank you for your unwavering support and wish you and your family a blessed and joyous Christmas season.
With every blessing,
Fr Peter O’Neill
