2023 Columban Mid-Year Appeal

There is no escape from the news of the destruction caused by war, cyclones, floods and earthquakes. Our hearts are moved, and we wonder how these things can be stopped and prevented. The causes of all these tragedies are manifold and need to be addressed.
Our Columban missionaries working in Pakistan have shared the desperation of the people of that country during the recent widespread floods. The number of people who have lost their homes is enormous. The Columbans in Australia are supporting a project in Pakistan that includes building 100 homes and even supplying 1,000 mosquito nets.
With your support, the Columbans can meet these targets and maintain our migrant apostolates, our parishes, and other forms of ministry across the many countries we work in. It is always a delight to help people in real need. The people's response is very satisfying for our missionaries, but we could not do this without your support.
